Brian Mills of Big Blue's Custom Models builds a mixture of styles from Off-road to mild customs. His attention to detail and ability to build custom parts is incredible. I personally have had a build done by him and I was so pleased with how it turned out! Now I have a one off 1979 SSII Midas model to go along with my real one!!
The number of details that Brian puts on his models are absolutely amazing. From connecting all the plug wires and battery cables to making custom hood hinges so you can display the beautiful V8 under the hood!! He skips nothing and takes his time to insure you will love your custom build.
From the trees to the show trucks Brian can do it! Here is a look at a barn find style scout he did for a client. The client also had him do a restored version as well to go along with this one. He can make custom parts, stripes, wheels and much more to make your model look as close to the real thing as possible!
The amount of detail and custom work that goes into the models he makes is truly amazing. I know for a fact that I will be sending a few more projects his way in the future! These models are great to display with your real scout or just to sit in your office or man cave!

Scott's goal is creating a registry to find out how many models were built by year and also to look for patterns in builds, etc. Would be great to know how many were built of each type, Midas, Rancher, Brush Buster, Sport, and Baja Cruiser.
He will also be able to get an idea how many survivors are still out there today.
If you own one or know of someone who owns a SSII please check out their website below!

Terry Strock son of Kenneth is honoring his father's legacy by making a collection of how many scouts his father painted.
If your scout has this mark, please take a photo of it and send it to terry!
My 1980 Rallye scout II was painted by Kenneth and has the mark! Super cool that I can share the story of the man who painted my scout new.
If you scout has the mark, please email Terry at tastrock@msn.com
Talking to both terry and his wife you can tell how much this means to both of them! Let's see if we can help them out.
Please check your scout if it has original paint still for Kenneths mark!
This is a photo of Kenneth; his mark was on this Scout. This was the last reunion he was able to go to before he passed away, Fort Wayne Indiana IH Homecoming 2019.
