Our Vision
The vison of the South Dakota IH scout and truck club is to continue to grow the club and share the knowledge of the International Harvester Scout and trucks for years to come. Another goal is to make our gatherings a staple across the IH community, a show known across the states as one you don't want to miss. This club is a family of members all brought together by their love for the legendary brand of International Harvester
Our members
Our members are all die hard Scout and truck owners. The amount of knowledge and experience they have on these old trucks is amazing to say the least. Our members are always keen to share their knowledge to young and new members of the club. We pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere.
Our club rules and regulations
The south Dakota scout and truck club is a very laidback club.
We do not charge to be a member or to attend events, even if you're just stopping by to look.
You do not have to be from south Dakota to be a member of the club or to attend the gatherings.
Last rule is to have fun and to be respectful to fellow members.

Where we started and where we are today
2017
This was our first get together all the way back in 2017! We had a total of 5 scouts total that year. It all started with a few buddies wanting to meet up and talk about our scouts. We had no clue that it would grow into what it is today.
2026
Today our club has two chapters covering both sides of south Dakota. For 2026 Our club is also co-hosting at the 37th annual RED power round up event in Huron SD this June 25-27th! We have a goal of getting 250 IH scouts, pickups and trucks to the event to honor our countries 250th birthday!
